Free from mineness, the wise one shines singularly, seeing a clod, stone and gold alike. His heart’s knot is completely broken, effects of rajo-guṇa and tamo-guṇa washed off well.
Mineness has no place, when we think well about how our body breathes, heart beats and our system generates blood. In all these nature’s hands alone work. Delusion can be removed only by knowledge, derived from truthful introspection. As trees, plant and so many creatures live, so too does the human, by the grace of nature. We must be able to understand this with the rare gifts of thinking and articulation we have.
Sattva, rajas and tamas are properties of nature. Rajas and tamas distract and delude. Sattva enlightens. Enhance sattva-guṇa, and reduce the other two. Gain the much-needed harmony. Mind and intelligence will become luminous, making you happy and full in every way. Mineness and delusion will not trouble any more.
A ball of earth, a stone and gold are alike when properly evaluated. Can we eat gold for nourishment? We need earth to grow our food and get nourishment. Earth is irreplaceable in our life, but not gold. Why then be deluded about their value? By wiping ego and possessiveness, spirituality makes the Knower’s mind and intelligence shine with their blissful lustre.
Cultivate sattva-guṇa and have sufficient wisdom, light and happiness. Keep rajas and tamas under check, to reduce activity and avoid delusion. Knower accomplishes this. With equal vision and overflowing bliss, he lives with exemplary harmony!
