Dutifulness becomes relevant only to the world, which is illusory. The wise do not see anything like that. They are formless, immutable, taintless and voidful.
In seeking the Self and achieving Self-realization, none should bring worldly and secular duties as excuse or defence. All duties and commitments relate to the world, which has already been shown to be illusory like dream. Though it appears gross and widespread, none experiences it so. Experientially inner mind is the sole focus and locus for us.
Employing the senses, the mind takes imprints of objects. None can doubt the imprints are within the body. How can they be then gross, solid or outside? What to say about them then? They are but notions the mind creates. All notions exist only in the mind, but they create the feeling grossness, and hence externality. But is this not the same in dream and dream objects too?
So, for the wise there is no doubt or resistance. When they introspect, what they experience is a full inner void, with no objects, names or forms at all. Even the visible world, as you look at it, is not so much earth, water air and fire. Infinitely more is the range of space. Think of this fact repeatedly. Grasp the emptiness, void the visible space represents.
Well, inside the body is the greater void, formlessness, impersonalness, where no modification of any kind verily can occur. All the bubbles transpiring within vanish immediately, leaving you to the immutable taintless, infinite sentient expanse! What duty can be relevant to this inner infinitude?
