Somewhere in the body is pain; somewhere is dissatisfaction in the tongue; somewhere the mind is in torment. So, leaving all these, I get deeply seated in the (fourth) object of human pursuit, moksha, liberation.
Our life is centred in our own personality. The personality consists of body and senses as well as mind, intelligence and ego. Every one of these has one trouble or torment always. There is no time when anyone is in full health and contentment. Finding this deplorable state, I have left all my expectations. I am not after either body and senses, or mind and the rest. Let the body and mind do what they will. I am the least bothered at all.
With stark indifference, the greatest gift of spiritual discrimination, to bodily, sensory and mental plights, let me be seated firmly in my own inner radiance, which is like space full and comprehensive. Ceaseless activities and revolutions of countless stars and planets orbiting within it do not affect space. Inner spiritual profusion is even more unconditioned and unaffected!
The more you think on this truth, the more poised and stable you become. Sheer ignorance and delusion alone victimize you by sensory, mental and intellectual assaults. Your recognition that you are the all-pervading spiritual presence is itself sufficient to remain concern-free, poised and full.
So, do not be after anything in particular, here or elsewhere. Any desire, selection or preference implies its opposite too. Avoid the endless labyrinth. Be restful for ever.
