He who resolves that this wonderful manifold universe is in reality a nothing, being desire-free, becomes the pure Consciousness itself and attains quietitude, as if nothing is present to involve him the least.
The Universe of infinite variety and wonder is there only when our senses reveal it. Even this takes place only when the supra-material mind enables the senses to work. The same mind takes to introspection and reveals the hidden inner dimension, its majestic magnitude.
This is how the seeker becomes spiritually reflective. Mind consequently finds the world is no objective reality, but a subjective imprint it makes. No world-object has any grossness like weight or measure as the senses try to make. If all objectivity is only notional, it confirms its illusoriness, unreality. Yes, it is a myth, delusion. This inner finding outweighs the outer sensory report.
Can any discreet human ever desire anything from the non-existent, illusory world? Will one desire to have before him a beautiful child he saw in dream? Thus the seeker shuns all desires. He experiences he is not the body, a part of the non-existent world. He is Pure Consciousness. Mind is its functional unit alone.
It is the mind that animates and activates the body. But for the mind, the body would become useless. As Pure Consciousness, the seeker has nothing to think or long for. He attains unshakeable quietitude. This inner process of search, finding and actualization is far more practical and easy than the sensory endeavours any time.
