Ma Gurupriya ji's reflections on Poojya Swamiji's morning messages (Prabhata Rashmih)
Date: 04 March 2026
Venue: Vijnana Bhavana, Narayanashrama Tapovanam
Book: *Prabhata Rashmih Volume 1: Chapter 18: Fulfilment*
In this Satsang, Ma reads and explains a chapter titled ‘Fulfilment’ from Swamiji’s book ‘Prabhata Rashmih’ (Vol 1), where he emphasizes that a seeker must try to understand the mind, as everything arises, subsists and concludes in the mind. The main focus of the seeker must be purification of the mind.
A pure mind will be able to understand better, generate the right emotions and motivations at the proper time. It will be able to assimilate the inputs better and come out with proper reactions. The mind also ultimately can generate fulfilment, by itself. Fulfillment will be had when the mind is properly treated to become pure and the hindrances to fulfillment are removed.
The Bhagavad Gita says that when one renounces all the desires of the mind and remains within himself, delighted by the Self alone, he is called a Sthita Prajna. When the desires are removed, the mind becomes still and, in that stillness, a joy emerges. This joy removes all craving for external possessions, leading to fulfilment. To generate this fulfillment, the mind does not need any external possession.
