In this Satsang, Ma recapitulates last week’s Satsang and emphasizes that a seeker must always remember the indwelling Lord. Every aspect of life and the home itself should remind one of the Divine. All actions must be performed with the awareness that everything unfolds according to the Lord’s will.

Though family, wealth, comfort and worldly achievements may appear enduring and joyful, the wise recognize them as transitory and shift their attachment to the imperishable indweller within.

Ma discusses the next chapter of the book ‘To the Householder’, which says that real joy arises not from external objects, but from the mind itself. Through introspection and a change in one’s way of thinking, the mind can discover peace independent of circumstances.

Constant self-observation and inner effort gradually strengthen the mind, transforming weakness into confidence. When vichara, or deep introspection, becomes regular and intense, the mind grows lighter, purer and transparent, eventually radiating peace, joy and inner freedom.
