Swamiji explains that the first six chapters of the Bhagavad Gita discuss the Supreme Truth in a thorough manner. Sri Krishna presents and describes the sovereignty of the Self and the inner personality and potential of the human. In the sixth chapter, Krishna defines meditation and its fruition, where a seeker realizes his own real identity and floats in the ecstasy of fullness.

From the 7th chapter, Sri Krishna presents his own superior inner divine dimension and speaks to Arjuna from that dimension. He declares that one whose mind is filled with devotion, who pursues Yoga taking refuge in Him wholesomely, such a seeker will know His magnitude and fullness. He reveals to Arjuna the knowledge, along with the experiential wisdom (Jnana and Vijnana), after which nothing more remains to be known.

The Scriptures emphasize that realization is incomplete without devotion towards the Lord. Mere realization of actionlessness (naishkarmya) is incomplete without devotion (bhakti) toward the divine presence. Devotion is when the mind starts thinking about, taking refuge in the Supreme. True fulfillment comes when knowledge is infused with loving devotion, leading to inner fullness, and ecstasy. Swamiji emphasizes that the seeker’s mind must be infused with Guru Bhakti or Ishwara Bhakti.
