The Bhagavad Gita says that worshippers of other deities attain only limited and transitory results. Unaware of the higher dimension within themselves, they miss the inner majesty and potential. To attain the infinite, and eternal, one must worship the Supreme Reality.

Swamiji emphasizes that the body is not the important factor; the seeker must focus on the imperceptible Self. The presence that shaped the body, which enlivens the body and enables all its functions is the real factor.

Sri Krishna explains that the senses, mind and intelligence are the seats of desire, which deludes human beings. To overcome this delusion, one must understand one’s own inner personality. The senses are superior to the world; mind is superior to the senses; intelligence is superior to the mind and still superior is the Self. By reflecting upon the inner potential, which is superior to the world, one can conquer desires.

The very birth and functioning of the body points to the presence that animates and activates the body, which is immortal, indivisible, omnipresent, and infinite. But deluded by Maya, humans are unable to understand their own superior dimension.
