061 – Bhagavad Gita – Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha – Float in the ecstasy of Self

2347 Views | 1 year ago

In this satsang, Poojya Swamiji guides us further along the path of introspection by reminding us that all our thoughts, feelings, perceptions and ideas are taking place in the sphere of the mind within; they are imprints of the mind alone. Being imprints of the mind, it is meaningless for us to court desire, possessiveness or ego over anything at any point of time.

In deep sleep, when the mind itself dissolves completely, we remain absorbed in ourself and experience absolute contentment and delight. The fountain of joy is actually our own within - not any external object.

Swamiji tells us that the one who arrives at this truth through tattva vichara, remains true to it, being led and governed by it every moment - attains liberation!

Poojya Swamiji will be taking Bhagavad Gita Verse by Verse in this Satsang (Saturdays). Swamiji is now discussing the second chapter of the Bhagavad Gita.
