Ma Gurupriya

018 – by Swamini Ma Gurupriya – Yogavaasistha: The Despair of Young Rama

1706 Views | 1 year ago

When 16 year old Sri Rama returned from his pilgrimage around the country, he was sunk in utter despondency. The world was filled with misery, and the fragile, transitoriness of life had gripped him. Pouring his heart out to his preceptor, in front of an assembly in the royal court, Sri Rama voiced the angst that all of us feel as we go through each day. The difference is, most of us don't even think to enquire if there is a way out. How blessed are we to have our beloved mother, Ma Gurupriya, take us through the scene so it becomes our very own, and the questions of the pure and beautiful prince too become ours.

In this exquisite Satsang, Ma hold us all spellbound as she transports us to the palace of Ayodhya. Like little children sitting on our mother's lap as she tells us the most magical stories, we drink in every sublime word, filled with reassurance and comfort that we are being led towards the eternal peace and serenity that can only come with knowing our real Self.
