In this Satsang, Swamiji explains that the Upanishads have a complete, wholesome vision of life that includes both spiritual realization and worldly welfare. A self-realized knower perceives the whole world as Brahman. His mind remains in tune with the infinite. He takes care of his own body; he also shares resources according to others’ needs, and offers shelter and help without attachment or possessiveness.

The Upanishad gives instructions based on the realization of the Truth, in individual and cosmic levels. In the individual level, Brahman is known to be established in all the actions of our senses and limbs and as auspiciousness in speech. In the cosmic level, Brahman is relief in rains, fame in animals, power in lightning, light in the stars, joy of immortality through the organ of procreation. Brahman is the support, Aadhara, of everything in creation.

When one meditates on the Brahman as the aadhara of everything, his mind becomes the aadhara for everything. When it is meditated upon a Mahaan, one becomes Mahaan; when it is worshipped as the Mind, the mind expands to the whole cosmos. When one meditates on Brahman as humility, then Truth descends in his being.

When the knower transcends all levels, and finally crosses the Anandamaya level, he moves around doing whatever he wants, singing Samagana, the song of fulfilment.
