In this informal session, Swamiji addresses some fundamental questions, bringing clarity to the listeners.

Hinduism stands on four pillars: concept of God, karma, heaven and hell, and rebirth. These religious concepts cannot be proved or disproved, but they encourage a disciplined life and discourage bad conduct, keeping society on the auspicious path.

Swamiji says that scriptures contain both truth and imagination. They aim to convey the deeper truths (Tattva), not just factual details (tathya). The stories in the epics also are made attractive to convey values. The message for seekers is that they should focus on the deeper truths, not the story details alone.

A seeker should not worry about mere concepts but take to what is experiential. The focus should be on inner purity, expansion, and the realization of consciousness, which is beyond causality.
