Lecture series by Nutan Swamiji during Delhi Sadhana Shibiram 2025.
Date: 16 September 2025
Venue: CIRD, Delhi

In this Satsang, Swamiji continues to discuss some key concepts of the Buddhi Yoga pursuit of the Bhagavad Gita. He explains each concept in detail to inspire listeners to understand them and apply them in actions and interactions.

Initially Bhagavad Gita speaks about Samatva as equalness towards all dualities. At a deeper level, Samatva is understanding that the Consciousness is the source and substratum of everything and in perceiving it in everything. Transcending Raga-dvesha—By this Sadhana, a seeker attains placidity of the mind.

Bhagavad Gita says that whatever is done without desires is a Yajna. All karmas should be done with an attitude of Yajna, as an offering to the universal Lord and not for any personal gain. Otherwise, it will result in bondage. Nature is a construct of the three gunas-Sattva, rajas and tamas; our body-mind personality is also functioning according to the three gunas. A seeker must recognize that gunas of one’s personality are interacting with the gunas of nature and remain unattached. A Gunatita is one who has transcended doership and enjoyership and is established in that which transcends the gunas.

The Buddhi Yoga pursuit also consists of Sharanaagati (surrender), which is taking complete refuge in the Lord/Guru.
