Informal Satsangs with Poojya Swamiji during Delhi Jnana Yajna 2025.
Date: 07 April 2025
Venue: CIRD Delhi
In this Satsang, Swamiji highlights the fact that people strive to live well without understanding what life truly is. He explains that we possess a composite personality: the body, which is external, material, and inert, and the inner personality comprising of the mind, intelligence, and ego. While the body begins to decline after a certain age, the inner personality has limitless potential for growth and must be consciously nourished.
All experiences, including happiness, arise from the mind, not from external objects. Yet, people spend time caring for the body while neglecting mental and intellectual growth. Spirituality, therefore, is a mental and intellectual pursuit focused on refining and enriching the mind and intelligence through knowledge, introspection, and enquiry.
Swamiji emphasizes that seekers must give supreme value and place to the mind and try to nourish it constantly. True growth lies in inner development, which leads to a more meaningful, balanced, and elevated life.
Shlokas chanted in the Satsang:
