Inscrutable are the ways of providence - how it mysteriously kindles the yearning for god in one's heart, then slowly shape and mould their inner personality through various events and experiences of life and finally make them inseparable from God!
Poojya Swamiji beautifully describes the life story of a great devotee Yamuna, who as a young disciple challenged and defeated a famous palace pundit to restore his Guru's glory. Having won half the kingdom as promised by the king, the young boy slowly slips into royal pomp and luxury, forgetting his spiritual moorings. But his life was not meant to be lived in royal opulence. Through unexpected turn of events, Yamuna regains his memory and dedicates the rest of his life in the service of God. He goes on to become Yamunacharya, composing many sublime slokas glorifying the devotion to God.
Poojya Swamiji will be taking Bhagavad Gita Verse by Verse in this Satsang (Saturdays). Swamiji is now discussing the second chapter of the Bhagavad Gita.
