An interactive Session with BEd Students of DBMS College.
Date: 11 March 2026
Venue: CIRD Jamshedpur
In this session with aspiring teachers, Swamiji gives succinct replies to the questions raised by the participants. Addressing the question on ‘Who is a Guru’, he says that the term Guru is used in the context of subjective education—education about our inner personality. A real Guru must live the knowledge they impart.
Human beings suffer from a big misconception that they will become happy by acquiring something from the world. Also, success is defined as achieving the desired result at the end of an action. But success is actually having a successful mindset. So true success is not merely in results, but in how we respond to situations—with steadiness, courage, and wisdom.
How to understand our thoughts and emotions better? One must look within and observe the mind. This process is helped by writing a journal with complete honesty and observing the mind with awareness and acceptance.
The best way to handle conflicts is to approach the conflict through wisdom based on reasoning and clear thinking and adopting a non-egoistic attitude. Swamiji emphasizes that a teacher can become a source of inspiration for students by being a living example. He also highlights that spiritual education—understanding the inner dimension—is crucial for the holistic development of children.
