When one cultivates devotion, all one’s evil tendencies are removed and the whole being becomes purified.

Srimad Bhagavatam inspires one to cultivate ‘Ananya Bhakti’ (unconditional devotion), which is untouched by any motivation or expectation. This one-pointed devotion to the Lord completely destroys misery, delusion and fear from the mind of a devotee and brings peace and calm. The mind of such a one-pointed devotee will automatically and constantly flow towards the Lord and will be firmly fixed at His feet.

Such a devotee, understanding that everything is the Maya of the Lord, does not get affected by any external situation.
