In this Satsang, Swamiji reiterates the Sadhana prescribed in Kaivalya Upanishad which exhorts seekers to use the knowledge as a churning rod to refine and purify the mind and intelligence. Through regular practice, seekers can free themselves from all bondage.

Kaivalya Upanishad says that both the external and internal worlds are manifestations of consciousness. Brahman, which is the substratum of the entire universe, is extremely subtle and it transcends the limitations of time. The individual Jiva is nothing but Brahman, the Consciousness. Through the verses, step-by-step, the Upanishad takes the seeker from the individual dimension to the universal dimension.

The three states of wakefulness, dream and deep sleep are manifestations of the Brahman alone. When a seeker realizes that he is Brahman (on which the entire universe appears to be), he becomes freed of all bondages.

When the seeker realizes his own real identity, he declares: “The consciousness itself is appearing as everything. It is manifesting as the enjoyable, the enjoyer and the enjoyment. Although the same consciousness is appearing as these, it is different from all these. I am That consciousness alone; I am the Ultimate Auspiciousness; I am timeless.”

The seeker goes on to say: “From me alone everything has emerged; It is all established in me; everything gets dissolved in me, the Brahman. I am That where there is no duality; I am the non-dual consciousness. The entire infinite creation is manifesting in me. I am ever-new, the controller of everything, the brilliance. I am the Consciousness, the Ultimate Auspiciousness.”
