In this satsang, Poojya Swamiji comprehensively describes what is Jnana nishta. In the Spiritual Pursuit, when Knowledge becomes the means to attain the goal, it is called Jnana nishta. It is a discipline of enquiring into who or what is the Supreme reality?
Swamiji tells us that by harnessing the supreme paurusha (power of will), we have to employ our intelligence in a process of introspection - to probe into and understand the Inner spiritual presence animating the body. With every introspection, our mind and intelligence assimilates and absorbs the Truth and becomes more and more refined and enriched. This introspection has to continue until we attain the Supreme nature.
Swamiji enlightens us that this Jnana Nishtha is a subtle process of leading the mind to mindlessness; that is to lead mind to its very essence - the Infinite Source of everything.
Poojya Swamiji will be taking Bhagavad Gita Verse by Verse in this Satsang (Saturdays). Swamiji is now discussing the Third chapter of the Bhagavad Gita.
