Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha

070 – Bhagavad Gita – Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha

In this extremely sublime satsang, Poojya Swamiji exhorts all of us to shift our focus from the external world to the 'I' - the subject presence.

Meditation is a process of getting absorbed into the Self within, in a state of absorptional stillness, when the body, mind and intelligence remains inactive. But this is a temporary state and we will eventually break away from it. So, how can one remain in state of fullness always? Swamiji enlightens us that, we must seek abidance in the Brahman - the universal Consciousness. Using self effort, we have to pursue the spiritual knowledge to such an extent that we firmly get lodged in Brahman.

Swamiji tells us that this happens through a process of understanding. Once we attain the supreme beatitude, there is no fall from there!

Poojya Swamiji will be taking Bhagavad Gita Verse by Verse in this Satsang (Saturdays). Swamiji is now discussing the second chapter of the Bhagavad Gita.
