Birthday should be a stocktaking day of your inner personality

Every birthday should be spent by a seeker assessing whether his conduct was good in the year gone by. He must think whether his mind and intelligence have been nurtured and developed well and whether good qualities like selflessness, helpfulness etc. are adorning the mind more and more.

A birthday should also be spent with a grateful thought for the mother earth which has provided us with food, clothing and shelter. Mind should feel gratefulness, indebtedness for Mother Nature and all the beings on earth.
