This video features Day 3 of the 3-day discourse by Swamini Ma Gurupriya on the theme Devotional Pursuit for the Householders, delivered during the Jamshedpur Jnana Yajna 2019.

In this Satsang, Ma discusses the instructions given by the nine Yogis to king Nimi in Srimad Bhagavatam. The Yogis say that a householder must cultivate devotion to the Lord and see his presence everywhere.

Introspecting and understanding that the world, one’s own body, possessions, family are perishable, one must cultivate dispassion to them. Seekers must be ever-vigilant and watchful that they do not become attached to worldly objects. They must live in their own house like guests, regarding family members as co-travelers in a journey. Instead of attachment to family, they must cultivate attachment to holy people, lovers of God.

Endowed with qualities like forbearance, non-hurting, equalness, silence etc., leading a life of austerity, one must revel in the glories of the Supreme Lord. Discussing his glories, remembering and reminding others about the Lord, seeing the Lord everywhere, the devotee must be constantly connected to the indweller. When this kind of devotion grows in the devotee, he has supreme bliss.
