In this Satsang, Ma emphasizes that a true seeker must constantly apply spiritual knowledge so that the connection with the indwelling Self is never lost. Like Arjuna on the battlefield, every person faces an inner struggle with the restless mind filled with desires, attachments, and aversions (rāga–dveṣa). These emotions cause agitation, joy in success, and sorrow in failure. Krishna explains that real peace arises when one remains even-minded amidst all opposites, going beyond likes and dislikes.
When the mind and senses are restrained and freed from rāga–dveṣa, placidity (prasāda) naturally develops. This tranquility dissolves all sorrow and steadies the intellect. A seeker must regularly introspect to identify where the mind loses peace due to desire or attachment.
A seeker should give importance to the Sadhana of contemplation and self-reflection, cultivating sāttvika qualities that purify the mind and clarify intelligence. Keeping a spiritual diary helps one observe thoughts and progress, bringing clarity. Through regular practice, mind-control becomes effortless and natural.
Krishna assures that when one learns to rejoice within and rest in the Self, external circumstances no longer disturb them. Such a person attains the highest peace—Brahma-nirvāṇa—abiding in inner bliss that is independent of all outer conditions.
