In this Satsang, Ma reads out and explains the segment in Poojya Swamiji’s book—My Beloved Baba—where Swamiji writes about his intense Sadhana after Deeksha and the gradual transformation of his personality in the hands of his Guru, Baba. The sincerity and diligence with which Swamiji did his Sadhana, is an inspiration and motivation for any seeker.

Swamiji had told Baba that he would do the Sadhana wholeheartedly but he would not like to read any scriptures. Agreeing to this request, Baba told him that whatever scripture was necessary for his Sadhana would come to his table. Accordingly, Swamiji came across Aparokshanubhutih, which speaks about direct realization of the Self. The wisdom-oriented text gave Swamiji the necessary fillip and revelation and he felt that the verses had a direct bearing on his Sadhana.

Baba repeatedly made it clear that Raja yoga is a pursuit which works internally—in the heart, mind, and intelligence. It cleanses the mind, and brings enlightenment in the mind. This Yoga can be pursued being engaged in intense activities. Raja Yoga is a subtle, internal, invisible pursuit, to be practiced by a seeker.

After receiving initiation, it is for a seeker to preserve and strengthen the flame of knowledge, by assiduous Sadhana. The Sadhana of the seeker is further boosted and facilitated by his love and devotion for his Guru.
