In this Satsang, Ma reads out from Swamiji’s book ‘My beloved Baba’, where he writes about his association with his Gurudev, Baba. This book indicates how a spiritual seeker should take to the Sadhana given by the Guru with love, steadfastness, and devotion.

Deeksha (initiation) is the fire and brilliance that the Guru lights in his disciple. By dedicated sadhana, seekers must strengthen the flame and make it blaze forth in them. When sadhana is done with full sincerity, the connection with the Guru becomes wholesome and vibrant. The progress through sadhana indicates the steadfastness and constancy of the Sadhaka.

After his Deeksha, Swamiji did his sadhana unfailingly, with one-pointed intensity. He was true to his practice and pursued it with his whole heart and mind. Baba would urge him to carry on, without any expectations or desires. Baba gave timely guidance and direction, through short and meaningful instructions.

Swamiji told Baba that he would do his sadhana diligently but would not like to take to reading any books. Baba assured him that whatever was necessary would reach his table, at the right time. In time, Swamiji came across Aparokshanubhuti and Mundakopanishad. By these spiritual texts, the extent and depth of the realization to be achieved became clear to Swamiji.
