In this Satsang, Swamiji continues to discuss ‘Brahmaananda Valli’ of Taittiriya Upanishad, which gives a step-by-step process for seekers to move from grossness to universal expansion. The knower of Brahman attains the Supreme. By being established in it, he will not be affected by the greatest of calamities. The Self is changeless, eternal, imperishable. Knowing the Self, a human attains the state of infinitude, fullness, where even the subject-object division is dissolved. The Upanishad says that one who knows the Supreme Brahman, which is hidden in the cavern of the heart, becomes desireless.

Giving various models, Taittiriya Upanishad says that the whole creation is appearing in the Consciousness. A knower understands that everything is an expression of Consciousness. From the Consciousness, space is born; from space, atmosphere; from the atmosphere, fire is born and from fire water is born; from water, earth is born and from the earth various herbs are produced. From herbs, food is born and from food, the human body is created.

The Upanishad says that the human body is created from food. The physical body is made of Anna (food), everything existing in the earth is a product of food and all are living by food. In the end, everything is dissolved and becomes Anna (food). The Atma is hiding as a seed in everything. The seeker must get back to this source or seed from the Annamaya body.

The Annamaya body is permeated by life forces, Prana. The Annamaya Purusha is full with the Pranamaya Purusha. All the brilliant natural powers are functioning only with the help of Pranamaya Purusha. The lifespan of all living beings is determined by Prana; human beings live as long as Prana allows them. Those who worship Prana as Brahman, attain the full span of life.

Swamiji emphasizes that whatever is there in the individual level is also there in the cosmic level. The whole universe, including the body-mind personality, is appearing in the consciousness. There is no macrocosm or microcosm there; Everything is the Consciousness alone.
