In this satsang, Ma tells us that imbibing the qualities and characteristics of a Knower is the sadhana for all seekers.

A knower, no matter what he does, speaks or thinks, never falls from Self-Seatedness - from the fact that he is the Self. In every activity, he has no feeling of doership and enjoyership, and hence has an equal disposition in all situations. Ma says, he is able to do so because he is absolutely desireless. There is no desire because he lives the Knowledge that Self is One without a second.

Even though we come to know of the Self and its characteristics, we find it difficult to live the knowledge. The hindrance in our path are our desires and expectations. Ma cautions us that even if the desires for external objects are gone, the subtle desires and expectations will still be there in our day to day interactions and they produce agitation and grief. Ultimately, our ego or the sense of limited identity has to dissolve. To do that we have to unconditionally love everybody, by acknowledging everything as an expression of our own Self!

Mā's Satsang is entitled 'Towards Eternal Peace and Happiness' based on Bhagavad Gita, Vivekachudamani, Yoga Vasistha Ramayanam and Bhagavatam | | Live Global Satsang with Spiritual Masters on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday at 8 pm IST/ 10:30 am EDT/ 10:30 pm MST
