02 – Vivekachudamani – Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha – Viveka and Vairagya: Imperative for Fulfillment

580 Views | 1 year ago

In this video, Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha ji, beautifully defines the Guru-Shishya relationship.
We normally worship an invisible and infinite God. We don’t know whether He hears us or whether He has anything to say to us. It is a unilateral approach. But it is different with the Guru. You interact with Him, you put forward your queries to him and you are slowly and surely guided towards the spiritual goal of Self Realization.

Swamiji stresses on the importance of the relationship with the Guru for a seeker of Truth. “The love and adoration you have for the teacher will only intensify the seeking,” says Swamiji.
