The mind has the power of assimilating and absorbing all impacts of the world, however huge and overbearing they may seem. The human being can be his own friend, by using the tool of intelligence which is enriched and empowered by spiritual wisdom.

All thoughts are products of the mind itself. Although impacts may seem to be from the world outside, all reactions and responses are produced within, in the mind. So, the mind has to overwhelm its own products.

A seeker can assimilate all impacts from the world by an illumined, enlightened mind. Instead of getting overpowered by the impacts of the world during interactions, he should overwhelm them.
