Sublimate Desire and Passion

In this track, Swamiji says that Kama (desire) and Krodha (hatred) are produced by the mind. They are the two emotional urges which dominate a person. The focus of a seeker should always be to sublimate desire and hatred.

Using one’s own will, resolve and intelligence, one has to understand the dominance of Desire and hatred and sublimate them. This is a complete and wholesome Sadhana for a seeker.

Such a person becomes inwardly integrated. His senses, his mouth, tongue, his mind, his intelligence, his ego, all become well-knit so that there is no misbehavior or indulgence, wrong indulgence from any one of them in any of the levels.

Shlokas chanted in the Track:

शक्नोतीहैव यः सोढुं प्राक्शरीरविमोक्षणात् ।
कामक्रोधोद्भवं वेगं स युक्तः स सुखी नरः ।।

Bhagavad Gita 5.23
