In this Satsang, Ma reads out and explains portions from Swamiji’s book ‘My Beloved Baba’, where he describes his association with Baba, his own intense Sadhana and deep introspection. Baba’s behavior, actions, and words revealed to him what a seeker should aspire for on the path of spiritual realization.

In spiritual life, basic behavioral notes are learnt from the Guru. The depth, strength, and clarity come only from close interactions with the Knower, the Guru. Swamiji writes that Baba, the knower, was so amiable, open, self-revealing, and comprehensive in his behaviour that the learning and assurance he derived from him were unparalleled.

Baba, the saintly knower, lived a simple life immersed in and embraced in his own Self. His life was free of rituals or worship, except singing songs of ego-effacement.

In reply to a query about the state of a knower, Baba quoted from Ashtavakra Gita and explained that a knower is like a child--straightforward and harmonious- doing whatever comes, whether good or bad, favourable or unfavourable. This harmony and its preservation are the most important aspect of spiritual wisdom.
