In this Satsang, Swamiji emphasizes that the Bhagavad Gita knowledge is meant to be lived. All the concepts in Bhagavad Gita show a seeker how, while coursing through all activities and interactions, he can attain the goal of life.

What is excellence? Excellence is responding excellently to every situation in life. It is not just having an excellent result of a performance. Excellence is a quality of the mind, whereby one can be harmonious with any situation in life. We become most efficient and excellent when the mind is cheerful and ready to grow through any challenge. An excellent person will perform his best in any situation.

Excellence is a quality of the mind. Fundamental qualities of love, sincerity, and openness will help us undergo situations and attain excellence. A person given to excellence will remain cheerful in difficult situations also.

Normally we are slave to objective situations and we lose our self-seatedness. We get agitated and disturbed by situations in the professional sphere, in the family or interactions with friends. We refuse to accept the situation or the challenge. We suffer from stress only because of our non-readiness to accept any situation.

We are not excellent when the mind is gripped by the selfish desire to gain more and more happiness and desire to avoid unpleasant situations. Bhagavad Gita examines this problem and prescribes solutions.
