Poojya Swamiji is taking us through a decisive phase in our Bhagavad Gita voyage, the ‘Sthita Prajna Prakarana’ – calling it a complete Spiritual treatise in itself. Describing Sthita Prajna as one who after relinquishing all desires of mind, remains absolutely content in his own within, Swamiji calls it a state of ‘objectless consciousness or objectless comprehension’ – a beautiful wakeful slumber. Who else other than one with the experience of Sthita Prajnata and who conducts himself in the light of that experience, will be able to explain it to others? We offer our humble prostrations at the Holy feet of Poojya Swamiji and look forward to his continued guidance through the finer intricacies of the Subject!
After listening to Krishna’s elucidation on Yoga, Arjuna raises a beautiful enquiry on Sthita Prajna and Sthita Dhee, thereby demonstrating his tenacity in listening to and absorbing Krishna’s message. This should become a constant inspiration for all of us, to be like Arjuna while listening to our Poojya Swamiji’s teachings.
