In this satsang, Poojya Swamiji enlightens us that the inner presence which we refer to by the term 'I', is Eternal, changeless and Singular.

Normally we think our life is between the birth and death of body. But we are not the body. We are the Spiritual presence which animates and sustains the body. The moment we recognize this Truth, our obsession with the body and the world will fall and we will begin to rely upon the Inner Presence.

Swamiji explains that bodies can be numerous, they get born and they die. But in all these mortal bodies is the same single immortal Soul. Everyone of us is that Singular Presence, but we do not realize it. When Krishna declared that he imparted the Spiritual Knowledge to Vivaswan at the origin of humanity, he was rooted in this eternal identity.

It is this knowledge of Self, which alone can empower our mind and intelligence with equanimity and resolve to meet all challenges and assimilate their impacts. It is the strength and inspiration of this knowledge which empowered our ancient 'rajarshis' to rule the kingdom, sometimes meting out cruelest of punishments. With passage of time, this knowledge got lost. It is this ancient wisdom, which Krishna now wants to fondly gift his dear friend Arjuna.
