Possessiveness is a delusion. Our own birth is not because of our own option. The body is a creation of nature/God. The world also is not our creation. If the body, world, earth, air, water etc., are not our creation and possession, how can we claim that we possess the body and things associated with the body?
Seekers must correct their possessiveness. They must repeatedly introspect that they themselves are possessed by nature/God. The intelligence must reflect: “If the body itself cannot be considered as my possession, not preserved by my own wish and will, can I claim possession over the wealth earned by using the body?”
Seekers must correct their wrong understanding about possessions and live with an enlightened outlook and vision. Living and interacting in the world, being free of desires, possessiveness, ego, one attains peace.
