Baba Gangadhara Paramahamsa (Baba), Poojya Swamiji’s Gurudev, lived an austere, ascetic life filled with divinity, immersed in Brahma Nishtha. The rebuilding and dedication of his abode, Poornashram, marked a most significant milestone in Poojya Swamiji’s life.
In this Satsang, Nutan Swamiji speaks about the dedication of Poornashram in Dakshinkhanda, the process of rebuilding Poornashram and the value of spiritual centres. Why another spiritual centre? Disseminating spiritual knowledge, the centres work as hubs to bring back the society on the auspicious path. When people come and interact with others in the spiritual centres, it gives them an opportunity to bring about a transformation in their personality.
In the planning, rebuilding, and conducting the program, nature’s providential laws were at work. Required support came from unexpected quarters. Devotees assembled providentially and contributed their skills. The mammoth task of hosting the visiting devotees (who had assembled from all parts of the globe), also was met providentially by a local spiritual centre. When the mind is free of desires, ego, doership, then the providential laws are given a free reign to operate.
A few years ago, Swamiji, Nutan Swamiji and Ma visited Dakshinkhanda and in the Satsangs spoke about Baba, his life and what he represented. For the people of Dakshinkhanda, this marked the beginning of a holy association, which started bringing a transformation in their lives. Online Satsangs in Bengali started, where the Dakshinkhanda devotees got an opportunity to have Satsang with Swamiji once a week. Other than this spiritual dissemination, seeing the poverty in Dakshinkhanda, some economic support also was provided, wherever necessary.
For those who were unable to visit during the Poornashram dedication program, Nutan Swamiji paints a picture of the holy abode. He speaks about the layout and the architectural style of Poornashram. Reading out Poojya Swamiji’s composition, ‘Gurupada Samarpanam’-the ten verses in adoration of the Guru—Nutan Swamiji explains what Poornashram is and with what attitude and mindset a seeker must visit Poornashram.
Shlokas chanted in the Satsang:
1:02:37 – 1:07:23 - Sadguru Dashakam—Gurupada Samarpanam
Swamiji will be discussing 'Voice of Upanishads'. The Global Satsang will be based on Taittiriya Upanishad. | Live Satsangs with Spiritual Masters on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday at 8 pm IST/10:30 am EDT/ 10:30 pm MST.
