Spirituality is a mental pursuit. The only focus in on the mind, says Swamiji.

Mind is either functional or non-functional and the entire sadhana is to deal with the functional mind and reach the non-functional state. From active to still. A thought-free state doesn’t stay forever, and we return to a thoughtful state. The goal is that the thoughtful state should not disturb us. We should be the same in both.

First, we reach a thought-free fullness and thereafter we must progress to a state in which both the still and vibrant states are alike.

Yoga Vasistha says: Lead the mind to samadhi. Ultimately overcome the state of samadhi and asamadhi and be equally at home with both. This is a lofty state where opulence and poverty do not delude us, strength and weakness cannot dislodge us and attainment and unattainment cannot subdue us.

Shlokas chanted in the Track:

(Yogavasishtha 6.101.29)
