When one takes Deeksha, the focus has to be on the sadhana given by the Guru, states Swamiji. The fondness, reliance and dependence on the Guru is the focus for the seeker and the mind generates these in him. How well a seeker can generate these is what determines how well he is emotionally attuned to sadhana.

The Deeksha starts functioning at the knowledge level. Deeksha and sadhana work to bring about purity in our mind and emotional structure. We will have love and no hatred, no jealousy, no suspicion. Our love will be uncontaminated. Unfortunate events will not reduce our reliance on God.

Shlokas chanted in the Track:

Srimad Bhagavatam 11.3.32
