Swami Bhoomananda Tirthaji, in this talk, tells how spiritual life is not only comfortable and pleasant, but also extremely nourishing. An enlightened man will do everything for the benefit of the world while the delusional man will do everything for his own benifit or his own family’s benifit. So it is a question of expanding the vision to think that our individual activity is only a contribution to the universal pool.

Spirituality gives us an expansion of mind which allows us to continue all activities, but dropping the clinging to the objective results. By this spiritual refinement, there is an enormous subjective, inner gain. Swamiji says that Spirituality is very rewarding as it expands our mind, it increases the perceptive ability of the intelligence and sublimates our ego. We become a far more expanded and enriched personality and we are able to perform activities of a much greater magnitude, scope and potential.
