In this audio, Swamiji points out that in the Upanishads, Brahma Sutras etc., Self-knowledge is a pursuit of the intelligence.

However, Bhagavad Gita has made it a pursuit of the mind. Bhagavad Gita is a book of Sadhana. The whole self-knowledge is in terms of evenness, moderation, delight, contentment and stability of the mind.

Shlokas chanted in the audio:

(Bhagavad Gita 18.55)

(Bhagavad Gita–2.38)

(Bhagavad Gita–4.22)

(Bhagavad Gita–2.48)

(Bhagavad Gita-12.14)

(Bhagavatam–11.8.5)
