Remove Differential Notion

Bheda Buddhi or Differential Notion, according to Swamiji is the biggest hindrance in spirituality. We think that the world is different from God. Soul is different from the body and the soul is different from God. Everywhere it is bheda-buddhi. A seeker must make sincere efforts to get rid of this differential notion by means of introspection.

Swamiji explains through the Bhagavad Gita that a well-integrated person in whom Samatava Buddhi has become a consistent practice, is devoid of Bheda Buddhi. When the differential notion goes, then one becomes a Jeevan Mukta. Differences will be there in front of him, as this world is a conglomeration of dualities, but he will remain unhurt, unaffected in all circumstances, accepting both pleasant and unpleasant occurrences.
