Prabhata Rashmih – Making Devotion Wholesome

Have Exclusive Devotion to God

Srimad Bhagavatam says that supreme gain in life is had when the mind cultivates exclusive devotion to the Lord. Exclusive devotion is seeing God in everything around and in oneself.

Swamiji says that the idol is only a sculpted piece of a stone or a marble or wood. But what about the mountains, the rocks, the Earth, the sky, the planets, air, water, river, sea, trees, plants and animals? All of them are equally manifestations of the same God.

So, we have to extend the fifteen minutes of Godliness to the twenty-four hours of the day by seeing God in everything. It is an expansion and elevation where the mind will expand to a spatial level.

Shlokas chanted in the Track:

एतावानेव लोकेऽस्मिन्पुंसः स्वार्थः परः स्मृतः ।
एकान्तभक्तिर्गोविन्दे यत्सर्वत्र तदीक्षणम् ॥

(Srimad Bhagavatam 7.7.55)
