Focus of enlightenment is the Self and its Realization

There are numerous anecdotes from our Shastras that tell us what the real focus of our life should be. Krishna teaches Arjuna, the sage Vasistha teaches young Rama, and in the Bhagavatam, Pareekshit is taught by Sukadeva. The environments are different, but all instances tell us that the focus of a spiritual life is within oneself.
