Bhagavad Gita says that a true Yogi is one who looks at sukha (joy) and duhkha (sorrow) with evenness. By remaining equipoised, he becomes master of the world. In this Satsang, Swamiji discusses how a Yogi acts and interacts, being fully established in the knowledge.

Spirituality is not limited to meditation alone—it is a functional, interactional knowledge that guides how we live, think, and respond in daily situations. When the mind is calm, harmonious, and steady, then the inner bliss is naturally felt.

The restless and oscillating mind may seem difficult to restrain, but Sri Krishna emphasizes that it is possible through Abhyasa (persistent practice) and Vairagya (dispassion, born of the understanding that everything is fleeting and transitory). Just as an axe (with a wooden handle) can cut a huge tree, the mind itself can be used to tackle and transform the mind.

Quoting Yoga Vasishtha Ramayana, Swamiji emphasizes that seekers must take recourse to their own wish and will and lead the mind to a state of poise and harmony.
