Spiritual pursuit is solely a mento-intellectual pursuit. By this pursuit, improvement, refinement, and enlightenment are to be brought about in the mind and intelligence.

Real Sadhana is the sadhana done by the intelligence. Introspection, done by the intelligence, is the highest form of Sadhana. When the intelligence is free of all doubts and oscillations, that is the Supreme state. By the practice of regular Sadhana and by introspection, a seeker is sure to reach that state.

One whose mind is free of desires, neither does he see any purpose in the lofty Naishkarmya Siddhi (non-action), nor does he have any need for performing actions, or practicing Samadhi (which is stillness of the mind and intelligence in meditation), or taking up chanting.
