This is a short video message from Nutan Swamiji (Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha) on the occasion of the first Saraswati Pooja celebrations at SIRD, Malaysia. Swamiji remarks that while children worship Goddess Saraswati with the hope of performing well in the exams, the real education lies elsewhere. Real education is in appreciating and imbibing the lofty cultural values of character. Goddess Saraswati, with the veena in her arms, is the Goddess of Perfection, and therefore, she inspires us to incorporate perfection in whatever we do.

The message gives us a new perspective of the Saraswati Pooja, how it should inspire us to bring about perfection in our work, and in our character.
