The text ‘Vijnaana Nauka’ says that Ananda (bliss) is a parameter of the Self. It is different from all other external happiness or bliss. When one is immersed in the ocean of Ananda, one understands that the whole universe is a play, projection of ignorance. When the mind becomes full, then one starts perceiving the same Atma everywhere. The vision of the world becomes different.

One who realizes the Self, states with conviction: ‘The ocean of Ananda, immersed in which one no longer is deluded by the world, that is only a projection of ignorance; that essence, because of which everything wondrous shines forth before us-- that eternal supreme Brahman am I.’

The knower realizes that: ‘I am the unchanging Supreme Brahman, which is attained by purifying the intelligence and considering all worldly objects to be trifling. I am the Truth which is attained by devotion to the Guru, and by contemplation and one-pointed meditation. I am that which is of the nature of bliss, which is beyond all limitation.’

‘I am that absolute, unchanging Brahman which is beyond mind and speech, which is known by negating all things which are not the Self. I am the non-dual Self which transcends all the three states. By the realization of the Self, the true nature of everything is known. I am that Supreme Brahman, which is limitless, encompassing all forms, free of all doubts, desires, clinging and that which is attained by Omkara.’
