In this Global Satsang, Ma speaks about the pilgrimage (Brahmadham Yatra) of Poojya Swamiji, Nutan Swamiji and Ma to Dakshinkhanda, West Bengal, for three days from 29 th of October 2023. Dakshinkhanda was the abode of Baba Gangadhara Paramahamsa (Swamiji’s Gurudev), who lived a life of absorption, expressing the magnificence of a Self-realized knower.

Swamiji had visited Dakshinkhanda a few times previously, when he had conducted talks and a ‘Dana Satram’. In 2023, it was decided to begin the construction of the Poornashram building. According to Swamiji’s wishes, Ma, accompanied by two Brahmacharinis, went to Dakshinkhanda for the foundation stone laying (shila-sthapana) on 18 th January, 2023. Ma spent time with devotees of Dakshinkhanda and spoke to them in simple Bengali, transmitting the simple truths of Brahma Vidya.

Enraptured by the knowledge, the villagers requested for a regular Bengali Satsang with the Ashram, which soon became a reality. The villagers also took to regular ‘Nama Sankeertana’ in the evenings. A beautiful, informal relationship started growing between Swamiji and the villagers. Swamiji also began teaching them Bhagavad Gita. The love and devotion of the villagers to Poojya Swamiji grew virtually.

Ma describes the preparations and actual journey of Poojya Swamiji, Nutan Swamiji and Ma to Dakshinkhanda. She speaks about the devotional welcome of Poojya Swamiji, with the residents showering flower petals, blowing conches, doing ululations and an Arati. After a visit to the temporary Poornashram, where the Guru Parampara photographs are kept, there was Pada Pooja which was followed by a Satsang. Swamiji held informal Satsangs on all the three days and spent time with the adoring and joyous devotees. Ma speaks about how some devotees shared their own feelings, speaking about the association of Swamiji and the resultant great transformation in their being.

Swamiji’s thoughts shared with Ma: “This has been the most significant event in my life, a great austerity and surrender. Baba wanted the villagers to be exposed to Brahma Vidya. I have been able to spend a lot of time with the residents and have been able to speak about devotee, devotion, God and God-realization. I feel that I have been able to fulfil Baba’s wishes and instructions. I feel a sense of fulfilment.”
