Deeksha Sadhana

Swamiji addresses a very pertinent question posed by a devotee about what should be done once they have taken initiation or Deeksha. Firstly, we must feel from the depth of our hearts that we are an initiated disciple. How much Guru bhakti we have, in addition to the value we give to Brahmavidya Deeksha and pursuit, will determine the quality of our spiritual life.

Nothing should be a hindrance to our pursuit. This sadhana should be the only focus and we must do nominal participation in other activities. A seeker must follow certain codes of life, like straightforwardness, truthfulness, honesty etc.

Good qualities will creep into us, thrills, exhilaration will all materialize depending on the intensity of our sadhana and the Guru bhakti we display.
