Observing through the senses and using our intelligence to infer that which is beyond the senses – the soul or God, gives us unbroken bliss. Have fondness and love for God, says Swamiji, remembering him fondly and communicating with him.

In the Brahmara Gita of the Bhagavatam, the Gopikas speak to Krishna insinuatingly, complaining to him about his departure after invoking such love and interest towards him. A seeker has to establish his own relationships with God. By whatever means, one must keep the mind riveted on God.

Swamiji urges us to have such intimacy with God, so that we can ask him to remove our defects. God gives us complete freedom to do what we want in our life but we must do it with the facilities given by Him, as his instruments.

Consistently, through mental austerity, one must develop fondness devotion and love for God.
